You start this interesting day with a scenic drive to the slopes of
Mount Etna. The enchanting landscape, fabulous views, pretty villages
are delightful as we make our way into the heart of Etna. We arrive at
the Mirgu Winery Estate for a fabulous and interesting tour of this
unique winery in the heart of the Etna slopes. Here they produce a
variety of fine wines and grappa. Our host will take you through the
process of wine making in this region which is a unique method used for
the mountain vines. Wine tasting follows and then relax and enjoy a
typical local lunch at the wineries superbly located restaurant offering
outstanding views of the Etna slopes and the Mediterranean Sea. |
