visit includes the quaint village of
Castelmola.
This pretty village lays a top the popular mountain village of Taormina.
The drive is spectacular, as we wind our way up the mountain side until
we reach the main piazza of Castelmola. Take a short walking tour around
the small village, the quaint alleys wind their way to the duomo and
viewpoints which offer spectacular views overlooking Taormina and the
beautiful bay of Giardini Naxos.
Our next stop is the beautiful town of Taormina, this small medieval
town is built on the mountain side. You will have free time to enjoy the
quaint streets lined with curiosity shops, boutiques and local tavernas
where you will also have time for lunch The Greek Theatre is also worth
visiting, even if it just to enjoy the views from the unique location. |
